Where are you located?San Luis Obispo, but I shoot all over California!
-
Do you travel outside of California?Yes! There is a travel fee that varies on the type and location of the session/event.
-
How far in advanced should I book my session?Up to 6 months for photo sessions and up to 2 years in advanced for weddings. Because sessions book fast (especially during holidays and wedding seasons) it is important to secure your spot.
-
How do I book you?Every photographer has their own system to booking a shoot so I made sure to include the process on my 'Pricing' page. I don't automate a booking schedule because I like to talk to you first to get all the information I need as well as answer any questions you might have before reserving your spot.
-
Can we meet you before we book?Of course! For a lot of shoots (like branding, creative, etc.) there can be so many details to go over and in-person brainstorming is the best way to get all the ideas out. Even if you are having a portrait session and just want to meet over coffee before we get you in front of my camera to get any jitters out, I'm all for it!
-
What if we hate being in front of the camera? This is probably one of the most common questions I get, that just means most people have the exact same concern as you do. Unless you're a professional model, I don't expect you to know how to pose or how to act. Your session is about YOU, so if smiling doesn't feel like you, you don't have to. Let me know what style and vibe you're going for and I'll help you out!
-
How will my images be delivered?Once I have edited and enhanced all your photos, I will create a personalized digital gallery where you will you be able to download all your images. Your gallery will be live for 3 months to give you enough time to download and share your images.
-
Do you sell prints? As of right now, that is something that I do not offer, but I do provide a Print Release form to all my clients. This document gives you sharing and printing rights so you may print your photos with your favorite shop. Although it may be convenient, I do advise to avoid printing any professional photos from most popular retailers and get them ordered from a professional lab instead to ensure quality and color. My favorite lab is mpix.com and it is what I recommend to all my cients.
-
When do we receive our images? Most portraits will typically have a 2-3 week turnaround time and a 4-6 week turnaround time for weddings. This can vary depending on busier seasons
-
Where will my session be held? Most clients have a specific location in mind, but if not, I can always help suggest locations. I am very fortunate to live in such a beautiful area where we have access to many beaches, dunes, trails, and parks - there's a lot to choose from. Outdoors are not the only locations, I also offer in home sessions (these are very popular among couples and new families with newborns)
-
Do you provide sneak peeks after our wedding?Yes! I will send you a few sneak peeks from your big day within 48 hours
-
What is your pricing for video? It varies from project to project. Type of project, studio/space rentals, lighting, audio, basic graphics, color grading, music licensing, travel, etc are a few examples of what a production can require.
-
Are the only events you shoot weddings?I have shot all types of events over the years such as sports, concerts, birthday parties, festivals, real estate open houses, and behind the scenes
